We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in AI modeling for cell biology, based in the AICell Lab at KTH and SciLifeLab and embedded in SciLifeLab’s AlphaCell program — a flagship, Wallenberg-funded effort to build the first molecular-level computational model of the human cell.
This is a computationally oriented role, grounded in biological questions. You will develop and train large-scale AI models that learn from diverse biological data — fluorescence and electron microscopy together with molecular measurements — to represent, predict and simulate how cells are organized and behave. The work is highly collaborative across computational and experimental teams, including close collaboration with Avlant Nilsson’s group at Karolinska Institutet and the Human Protein Atlas data team.
We shape the exact project scope together at the start, so this description stays high-level by design. If it sounds like your kind of challenge, the full details and eligibility requirements are in the KTH advertisement.
